Could you describe the path i find in one of your tutorial

root://uct3-xrd.mwt2.org///atlas/uct3/data/users/lincolnb/ZZincllNp0.ntuple.root

I can access this path from my  Tier-3 too.  I am thinking if I get the similar path in my account, I can put my inputfile over there and submit the job on atlasconnect(Not being able to figure out where it could be). Both MWT2 and FresnoT3 would be accessing that file easily.

That ROOT path isn't quite correct, but documentation etc are forthcoming.

Excuse me for putting question again but I am little confused with public and data directory in my area. Both points to some directory but they seems to be broken since I can "cd" them.

data  example-simple  public  simple.error  simple.log  simple.out  uc3-root  workarea

-bash: cd: data: No such file or directory

I take this opportunity to ask you one more question. If I place some ntuple in data/ dir. Is the following path points to the same data dir.

root://uct3-xrd.mwt2.org///atlas/uct3/data/users/hbawa/

If not, Please point me how can I put my ntuple in  area and want to access using root:://uct3-xxxxxxx
