I would assume so, although Ilija has pointed out to me that this would be best distributed through CVMFS to avoid inevitable problems with sites not having the library or mismatches etc.

Hi all,

As of Analysis Base 2.0.16, we will need to have the GSL installed on computers that would like to run xAOD using RootCore. Release details (https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/AtlasProtected/AnalysisBase) but does not mentioned needing GSL.

In the meantime, the next stable base will be 2.0.13 (without GSL dependencies).
