FresnoState is planning a network upgrade and there would be a network outage on Thursday  Feb12 which could effect our Tier-3 jobs. Kindly plan accordingly for submission. The scheduled network outage plan is as follows.

Dear Campus Community,

 

Thank you for you continued patience as we begin the final phase of the CSU CNI project.

 

Here’s what to expect this week:

 

Tuesday, February 10, 10 pm – 6 am    Planned wireless network outage

This will disrupt access to the entire campus wireless network. (Majority of work will be completed within the first 30 minutes.) Users will continue to have access to email, campus portal, and Blackboard as long as you are connecting from a wired device or off campus.

 

Thursday, February 12

6 am - 7:30 am          Loss of wired network access – SSU Only

6 pm - 2 am               McKee Fisk Data Center Migration – disruption to all services hosted in McKee Fisk

We expect all work on the CNI project to be completed the week of February 16.
