      Below please find the minutes from our eRHIC IR Design meeting that
was held on Friday, 10/19/2018. Please note that, due the upcoming EIC 
meeting down at Jlab,  our next meeting will be on Friday November 9th, 
starting at 2:30 pm.

    Minutes from the eRHIC IR Design meeting held on 10/19/18

* We started with a brief discussion of the agenda for the meeting.
    The main agenda item was to go through Bob's draft slides on the IR 
design to be presented at the EIC mtg.

* Ferdi gave a brief summary of the recent of the recent internal eRHIC cost 
review. A lot was learned about the current status, and work still to be done.
    - The external cost estimate will be split into two sessions.

* We then went through Bob's draft slides for the IR design talk. File: 
1810-ir-jlab-v2.pdf
    - There were many comments and suggestions made for the slides. They 
mostly dealt with removing items, terms, and file names that would be 
meaningless for the audience, changing the description of some of the slides 
to "worst" case examples, some suggested slide title changes, and to place 
keys on all relevant slides to define what the various lines in the plots 
represent. At the end, still needed were a Summary slide, and a comparison 
between the eRHIC and Jlic design parameters.

* Due to the EIC meeting at the end of the month, it was decided that the 
next IR Design mtg would be held on Friday, November 9th, at 2:30 pm.
  Draft Agenda for Nov. 9th mtg:
    - Discussion of the outcome(s) from the EIC mtg.
    - In an E-mail, Elke also suggested that, if available, Stephen T. gives 
an update on the status of his efforts on the Electron ring.
     End of mtg.
