please find below the minuted from our meeting on November 16th, 2018.

First we had a presentation by Stephen T. to discuss the possibility to move the electron SR on top of the blue ring.

slide 2: shows a side view indicating the vertical band the red boxes are the crab cavities the blue stripes indicate the 

vertical and horizontal Quads. 

The crab cavities sit at 32 - 35 m from IR symmetric around IR

slide 4: shows the horizontal location of the yellow ring with respect to the blue ring which sits at the zero line.

The black line is the electron ring which respect to the blue ring. One can see that at certain locations around the ring 

the electron ring collides with the wall and the blue ring and such maintenance becomes nearly impossible.

—> The RCS needs to be moved as well to adjust for the new locations of the SR 

The new layout is currently only a concept, also polarization transparency of the vertical band needs has not yet been checked.

Stephen has agreed to give us an update as soon as the new layout becomes more final. 

Bob, showed one slide of the IR, which indicated the acceptance for protons with a momentum up to 25% of the beam energy. 

Bob, please sent us a copy of the slide.

The crossing angle of 25 mrad is decided and fixed now.

We discussed that at one moment we need to look into more detail in IP-12 if there is still space for polarimetry, especially as not the electron injection is in IP-12

Christoph verified that we still share the lumi between the two IPs 

Elke Promised to provide the different Ls for the lumi-detector.
