Hi Holger,

Here are my input from the crab cavity side:

1. A down selection was made between two types of design for the 197 MHz 
hadron crab cavity. We will continue the design with RF Dipole from this 
point.
2. The current decision on the 394 MHz crab cavity is a scaled down version 
of the 197 MHz cavity.
3. The current baseline is 4x 197 MHz + 2x 394 MHz per side for hadron ring, 
1x 394 MHz per side for electron ring. This still may change as the design 
moves forward.
4. Discussion still going on for requirement of electron vertical crabbing to 
compensate for the effect from the detector solenoid. Not sure for the 
location of the vertical crab cavity, if needed.

See attached for preliminary single 197 MHz cryomodule design, and a even 
more preliminary design of the installation layout dimensions.
