Dear ECCE:

At our meeting today with EIC PM and the EICUG Steering Committee, two joint meetings between PM and the proto-collaborations were announced. These meetings will be convened by Rolf and Elke and are intended to facilitate communication between PM and the proto-collaborations on topics of common interest.

The first is a meeting on far-forward/backward IR; example topics are IR layout, SR and beam-gas background, beampipe design, ….

Meeting: Mondays 2:00 pm

Frequency: once per month

First Meeting: Monday 7th of June 2:00pm, plan is to discuss the IR-8 design

Note that *the first meeting is this coming Monday, June 7^th* and the topic of discussion is *the IR-8 design*.

The second is a meeting on lepton and hadron polarimetry, everything on the one set of hadron polarimeters (H-jet and pC) for EIC, lepton polarimeter in IR, local hadron polarimeter per IR:
