Dear ECCE enthusiasts,

To follow on from the information given in today's GM, we launched the second simulation campaign last Wednesday and have made rapid progress in the simulation and reconstruction. We are moving the outputs to both S3 and xRootD and have close to 70M events produced (it may take a day or so for the transfers to appear).

Our current output has been:

  1. 10M single electrons
  2. 10M single pions
  3. 1m eAu @ 10x100 GeV
  4. 20M ep @ 10x100 GeV
  5. 20M ep @ 18x275 GeV
  6. Several million DJANGOH events

We are also running close to 100M events at the production sites and will be adding more to the queue behind this so the list of available samples will increase dramatically this week and next.

To this end, we would like to ask people to look into the samples and let us know if they encounter any issues. The samples are located under:

S3:
eicS3/eictest/ECCE/MC/prop.4/prop.4.0/

xRootD:
root://dtn-eic.jlab.org///work/eic2/ECCE/MC/prop.4/prop.4.0/
