Dear ECCE Members:

As discussed at the ECCE Bi-Weekly meeting today, we will have a set of dry-runs for the Detector Proposal Advisory Panel talks this coming  Wednesday and Friday:

Wednesday, December 8th:

Part 1: 9-noon         https://indico.bnl.gov/event/13955/

Part 2: 5-6:30PM    https://indico.bnl.gov/event/13956/

Friday, December 10th:

Part3: 10AM-4PM   https://indico.bnl.gov/event/13957/

After extensive discussions today between the SC, the consortium, and a group of external advisors, we gave settled on the agenda of talks and speakers for the Dec. 13, 14th presentations.  A PDF with the agenda is posted at the “Par 1” indico link above. The SC greatly appreciates all the input and discussion we received.

For the dry runs, it is our intent to try to get through all of the Day-1 and Day-2 talks in the sessions on Wednesday. If we run long and that doesn’t happen, we will schedule an additional session on Thursday, Dec. 9th.   On Friday the talks should be in a polished state and we will  go through all of them again for time as well as content.

The nature of these dry runs is such that we will be having somewhat confidential conversations and discussions as we develop the presentations. As such, we will not be making recordings of the meetings or posting the draft presentations. We will let the consortium know when the presentations are posted on the meeting website at the end of the day Dec 10th, and we will be able to make updates to correct mistakes, etc., over the weekend.

Regards,

Tanja, Or and John
