Dear Exclusive, Diffractive & Tagging enthusiasts,

Thanks to your participation, we had very good discussions last Wednesday and Thursday on the strategy toward the publication.

Please see below for a summary of conclusions:

1. eA diffractive study will become a separate publication. This will include the eA phi production study by Justin. The objective of the publication is to share the ECCE experience in this extremely challenging measurement and provide requirements to the accelerator project design team for both IP6 and IP8.

2. There will be a summary paper to include all other studies from both working groups (TCS, eA-DVCS, u-Channel DVCS and pi0, ep-J/psi, ep DEMP, XYZ mesons, pion form factor, pion structure-function, and more). We will start as one paper, and could always further group different studies into separate papers during the writing stage (as an example, a dividing line between DVCS and DEMP processes). The target publisher for the summary paper is the NIM.

Logistics wise:
a. At the beginning of the writing stage, we will meet bi-weekly, please fill the time poll for the first meeting time next week: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.when2meet.com/?14501192-sx5PO__;!!P4SdNyxKAPE!XD-2OW27-PTWshjCb-luLVjWXbXk3GKNTOjqPEH_veeo7MI4gCtRSIMy6KrjXIzuFPquwy4WoGuQmg$
b. Peter is setting up the paper GitHub repository and overleaf for both papers, I will circulate further information once these are ready. Additionally, there will be a paper-specific mailing list, and communication and discussion through Discord and Mattermost are encouraged.

c. There will be a new round of simulation to help further polish the result for publication, and an announcement will be made on this soon.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please let us know.

Many thanks

Axe, Julie, Rachel, and Bill
