  Hi Youqi,

The easiest explanation would be that HEPMC3 support is not compiled in. Is it? Did you use a "-DHEPMC3" option when running cmake?

  Cheers,
    Alexander.

Subject: [Eic-projdet-pfrich-software-l] Reading HEPMC files with the standalone software

Hi group,

As I mentioned in the software meeting, I am having problems using HEPMC files as input to run pfrich-epic. For example, when I do:

./build/pfrich-epic -i pfrich_eta25phirange179181p10.hepMC -o pfrich_eta25phirange179181p10.root -s 1000

I get a message of:

Usage:
pfrich [-m macro ] [-u UIsession] [-r seed] [-s statistics] [-i <input HEPMC3 file>] [-o <output ROOT file>]

I also get the same message if I remove "-s 1000".

Seems like I'm either missing something very obvious here, or there might be something wrong with the HEPMC file that I generated. I have attached the HEPMC file to this email.

Best,
Youqi
