I also gave an update on motivation for nHCal at the Calorimetry meeting today and it was well received. You can have a look at the slides here:

Now we have to focus on providing constraints on the design driven by physics measurements. This means that VM reconstruction via dimuons will constrain the tile size as well as 2-particle resolution study. This can be done in the nearby few weeks. The optimization should be good enough, which we can refine in detail later.
