Dear Colleagues

I have good news. We had a very productive meeting with Elke and the ePIC engineering team today. This resulted in confirmation of the design of the nHCal modules, which will be a scaled version of the LFHCAL module. They are going to have dimensions of 10 cm x 20 cm x 45 cm in y,x,z directions respectively. We can in principle extend them in z up to 70 cm, but keep in mind the limitations of the service gap and oculus for service access. This simplifies our situation and puts an upper limit on the size of the tiles to fit within the module. The detailed drawings are uploaded to the Indico page:
