Here's another message from Silvia about the preTDR. The new deadline is 2024.12.6. We also need to follow the "Guidelines for Reproducing TDR Plots" found here: https://zenodo.org/records/14170704

Please have a look at our preTDR version and make sure you follow these guidelines to reproduce the plots you created. If you think you cannot make it, I suggest to create a placeholder repository, which we can point to first. We can add the code, scripts and instructions later.

Dear Coordinators, CC WG conveners, DSLs and DSTCs,

        the next step toward the preparation of the preTDR,
following the successful production of the draft Version0 and the
internal review process,
is progressing towards Version1.
Originally, the dead-line was fixed on December 1st, namely on a
week-end, which
is also a very special one:
it concludes the week of a major holiday in US: Thanksgiving Day.
Following some wise suggestions,
THE DEADLINE IS NOW MOVED TO FRIDAY DECEMBER 6.
This date makes the deadline very near to the period of the
end-of-the-year break.
Therefore, it cannot be missed: it is a VERY FIRM DEADLINE.
Thank you for understanding and matching it.

There are requests of information about the FOLLOWING STEPS.
The organization and schedule of the preTDR activity in 2025 depends
also on external parameters,
where the DOE OPA review in early January 2025 is one of them.
Therefore a schedule of the 2025 activity will be presented for discussion
at the ePIC Collaboration meeting in January 2025.

I take the opportunity to remind here in the following
some IMPROVEMENTS EXPECTED in Version1.

- Make use of the comments and recommendations from the internal review.
When needed, engage a conversation with the reviewers for clarification
or discussion
of their input.

- Please, follow the "Guidelines for Reproducing TDR Plots",
that you can find in ZENODO, ePIC community, access restricted to
ePIC Collaborators (https://zenodo.org/records/14170704).
If you need an example, please take note that BIC DSC has started its
repository
(maybe also other repositories have been started).

- About the topics "Collaborators and their role, resources and workforce":
Costs and timelines are detailed in in P6, therefore there is no need for
a complete duplication in the preTDR text.
Some underline of the time required by major activity steps can be
appropriate.
You are requested to indicate the collaborating institutions and their
contributions (gross features)
using table format.
