Dear nHCAL DSC,

Leszek has done an excellent job spearheading the nHCAL effort over the last few years. Indeed, nHCAL is (AFAIK) the only detector subsystem with a single subsystem-leader and without any other leadership. Leszek has enthusiastically taken on the sole leadership responsibility for the subsystem this entire time, and I am grateful for his willingness. As the group has grown we have also thought how to incorporate the expertise of new members and to ease the load on Leszek as the sole leadership position. Since joining the UIUC group and Caroline in particular have been invaluable to the progress of the nHCAL project.

Therefore, I would like to nominate and propose that we appoint Caroline as the official Detector Subsystem Technical Coordinator (DSTC). I would like to discuss this in tomorrow’s meeting to hear any feedback.
