Dear eMC,

We will hold our next eMC meeting on April 1st at 9:00 AM ET.

We are approaching the end of the 2025 SoS cycle, and it is time to complete the final steps of the process. We have now received feedback from 19 out of 20 Activity Coordinators, which is great; these feedbacks are available here:

The final step is to close the loop with the Institution Representatives (IRs) by following up on the feedback provided by the Activity Coordinators.

We have compiled all institution-specific feedback in the “Step 4” tab of the tracking spreadsheet. For each institution, you will find:

  • the initially submitted SoS,

  • the declared activity areas,

  • and the comments from the Activity Coordinators.

Two main types of discrepancies have been identified:

  • activities reported by institutions but not observed by the coordinators,

  • individuals contributing to specific areas but not listed in the institution’s initial SoS.

Please review the entries in this tab. We propose that you follow up with the institutions you volunteered to cover (link). The goal is to:

  • clarify these differences with the IRs,

  • understand their origin,

  • and, if needed, update the initial SoS submissions.

We will discuss this process at the April 1 meeting. In the meantime, please let us know your availability for this follow up, with the goal of completing the 2025 SoS cycle by the end of April.

Best,
Carlos & Eric
