List for the 2014 Hot QCD White Paper Writing Group

Dear Colleagues:

The current version of the White Paper in the repository is an impressive 
document, highlighting not only the accomplishments in our field but also the 
hard work of this group. At the same time, it is a distressingly incomplete 
manuscript. I had anticipated having a completed draft THIS YEAR (caps 
deliberate). That does not appear likely. 

I would ask the authors of the missing sections to commit to finishing them 
immediately. In the next few days I will no longer be able to concentrate 
completely on the White Paper, yet another reason (in addition to the 
community deadlines) to finish the remaining sections as soon as possible.

P.S. I have previously noted that the last “Summary” section is a 
placeholder. I do not envision it to be more than a paragraph or two, 
congratulating the reader on having made it the end of the document and 
noting the tremendous opportunities in the field. If you have thoughts or 
contributions for this, please let me know.
