Greetings!

You are receiving this e-mail because you are in one of the groups which gives you access to the NSLS-II computer systems. In our ongoing effort to keep users of the NSLS-II systems informed of maintenance, upgrades and outages we have formed this mail list “nsls2-computing-notifications-l”.

We will use this mail list to send advance notifications of maintenance upgrades and configuration changes to any of the NSLS-II systems. We will also send a notification if we are experiencing an outage of any of our systems. The notifications will appear as coming from NSLS-II’s Jira project management system.

In addition to posting the notification to this mail list we will also post to the NSLS-II Slack channel #general.

In the coming weeks, we will follow up with instructions on how facility users can also subscribe to this mail list to receive the same notifications.

We respect the volume of e-mail people receive and will make our best attempts to keep this to a minimum. Please reach out to me directly if you have any questions.
