Update

This transition has occurred smoothly. JupyterHub is confirmed to be accessible both inside and outside NSLS-II.

As a result of this work, it is expected to be responsible and reliable.

Description

On Tuesday, jupyter.nsls2.bnl.gov will be migrated to a new NSLS-II dedicated reverse proxy. This should improve some of the performance issues of the web interface seen by some users.

The transition should be transparent to most users, but there may be a brief interruption of service during this time window. This will not interrupt any long-running computations in progress. It could briefly interrupt users’ ability to view notebooks or start new computations.

We will update once the migration is complete.
