The changes have been made and the work is complete.

Description

Starting 10:00am Friday, we will start to push out a configuration change to the beamline computer systems. This will change how the systems decide which of the NSLS-II DNS servers to use and what to do in the event one was to fail. Over the course of Friday, we will add all the NSLS-II beamline systems.

The change has been tested to the extent we can and should not effect the beamline systems. However, it is possible that there may be unintended glitches.

I apologize for the short notice, but this is in order to prevent larger issues if this is not fixed which could cause larger downtime.

Please note: this does not apply to accelerator systems.
