Update

The NoMachine Gateway:

nxcloud01.nsls2.bnl.gov

Used for Beamline Remote Access has now been migrated to Duo Federal. Users will need to use Duo Federal for their 2nd factor during the authentication.

Web access to the NoMachine is now via the direct link:

https://nxcloud01.nsls2.bnl.gov/

In addition, the NoMachine gateway is now accessible directly from outside BNL. No VPN is needed for access via the web client or the nomachine client.

Description

Tomorrow (Saturday 8th January) all NSLS-II systems will move from Duo Commercial to Duo Federal.

During this time, it may be necessary to interrupt certain remote access services to make the change. Any interruption will be kept to a minimum. Connections into the NSLS-II may drop as the changeover is made.
