Description

Good evening.

This friday, BNL's network engineering team will perform upgrades to the firewalls at the N2SN perimeter, the firewalls between the accelerator and beamlines and the firewalls for LBMS. There will be no planned outage due to this work and no loss of connectivity during the upgrade. 

On Monday next week, the old NSLS2 "central" GPFS will be shutdown located in the NSLS2 datacenter. No beamlines should be effected by this shutdown. This also does not effect the accelerator systems. If you have any concerns, please speak to your AST lead or contact me directly.
