Hi Alexei,

I'm sending you the announcement of the Google faculty research awards. The deadline is 2019-09-30 13:00:00 Pacific time. Please feel free to circulate it.

Quantum computing is part of the awards and 12 faculties around the world received it in 2018 [recipient list]. Personally I'd love to see QC on HEP related research supported.

Typically it is ~$110k for one year intended to support one student doing relevant research.

The Google Faculty Research Awards program is now accepting applications on our Google Research site. We will be accepting proposals now through September 30, 2019 at 1 PM PT. To submit a proposal, please fill out this application form. Please note we will not accept any late applications, so please submit prior to 9/30.
