Training Coordinators,

 

Attached is a list of all staff who were required to take Export Control Awareness training as of 8/29/19, so you can remind them. The spreadsheet is sorted by Dept. All staff were notified last year, but weren’t linked to the training until now, due to some recent updates in the content.

 

There may be more staff assigned in the future, based on their role and what we hear back from the DOE, but we’ll let you know if that changes.

This is a reminder that you should have completed the Export Control Awareness (TQ-EXPORT) training by now. This training is being added to your JTAs and will now be reflected in your training profile.

 

As a reminder, this online course describes the importance of export control to the U.S. and to BNL and identifies who and when to contact for questions related to these requirements. All staff who participate in scientific research, technology development or contracts and procurement are required to successfully complete this course.

 

If you have any questions regarding this training, please reach out to the Training Program Office at Ext. 6252 or the Export Control Officer (Keiji Horikoshi) at Ext. 6336. Thank you.

Good morning,

 

The Training & Qualifications Office, in cooperation with the Subject Matter Experts and focus group, is pleased to announce launch of the new Export Control Awareness (TQ-EXPORT) online training course. This 15-minute online course describes the importance of export control to the U.S. and to BNL and identifies who and when to contact for questions related to these requirements. All staff who participate in interactions with foreign nationals here or abroad are required to successfully complete this course.

 

You have been identified as someone who needs this new training (or a training coordinator whose team is affected). We are giving 60-day grace period to complete this training before it shows on your training record as incomplete. Please complete the course as soon as possible, and we appreciate any feedback you can provide.
