Dear DUNE Collaborators,

please take care when calling ZOOM meetings, see the message sent by Sam Zeller below,

Stefan

------

As you may have read in the news, there are increasing instances being reported of "ZOOM bombings" where meetings are getting taken over by an outside attack and/or inappropriate content is projected. This occurred during a recent colloquium at Fermilab for example.

Below is some advice on running ZOOM meetings to help avoid this:

1) Enable others to join the virtual meeting only after the host joins. Do not enable participants to join in advance.

2) Disable participants' screen sharing capability by default. The host can share screen, of
course.

3) Do NOT include the ZOOM link or any links for joining the ZOOM meeting on any publicly accessible webpages.

Please be sure to keep these measures in place to protect your ZOOM meetings and gatherings.
