Hi all -

Several of us (mainly myself, Thomas and Zhangbu) have been discussing
organizing a regular meeting time for all EIC-interested folks in BNL
Physics to discuss our plans for contributing to Detector 1.

Of course, many of us have been contributing in various ways since the
beginning of the effort, but with D1 design in full swing, it’s crucial
to figure out how we can contribute to the detector and physics program
-- while carrying on our other shorter-term research plans.

Thus, we are proposing a virtual meeting to start things rolling and
hear from everyone who wishes to contribute.  We also expect to hear a
bit from the department for context.

Anyway it will be:
