Dear All,

Several discussions and presentations have been held on the development, 
maintenance and long-term support of collaborative tools, including at 
the ePIC General Meeting in April.
This topic has become even more relevant given that funding for the 
Collaborative Tools PD project at BNL has been secured until 1 October 2026.

Frank Geurts has proposed a meeting between the RHIC and ePIC 
experiments and the SCDF to discuss long-term support, for which I have 
been asked to organize.

Working together with the experiments and core developers, we have 
drafted an agenda [1]


At this meeting, we will discuss how many instances of collaborative 
tools BNL and JLab will require. Are there any fundamental differences 
in the requirements of ePIC, sPHENIX and STAR?
What does production readiness mean for the different services? What 
personpower is needed to put them into production and operate them?


The meeting is open to anyone who is interested, but it is particularly 
important that core developers and experiments  present their vision.

There is a Google Doc for collecting suggestions [2]

All materials will be added to the agenda one week in advance, and the 
purpose of the presentations will be to facilitate structured discussion 
of the topics.
