This morning Markus, Andrea and I had a EIC SW WG coordination meeting where we went over the July 10 agreements and next steps.

The gist is

• followup to the July 10 EIC simu meeting at BNL: propose to meet Tue Sep 24 at JLab, during the G4 collaboration meeting they are hosting (the collaboration meeting includes a 2hr session on G4 for EIC that day) (we give up on a meeting at LBNL in Sep)

• aim to come to that meeting with first versions of the agreements

• Naming conventions: Yulia a good candidate to write up a draft proposal, do an iteration of input from Alexander, Chris et al before the meeting

• C++ infrastructure: basically whoever has time and interest to put together before the meeting proposals on parameter management and sensitive detector interfaces should do so. Ideal scenario that Yulia, Alexander, Chris, … produce something together. If BNL folks don’t have time, it winds up being more Yulia based at the meeting and we go from there

• common hits output format: lower priority, difficulty is recognized, but people are invited to make a common proposal at/before the meeting; can discuss there what it’s missing

and aim to emerge from the meeting in shape to document concrete agreements (ideally) soon after

Are interested parties around this week to discuss? Tomorrow would be good, avoiding the DUNE meeting the rest of the week
