Hi all,

You'll recall the Physics Dept S&C Seminar Series plan, we had exactly one seminar (Cedric). To be jointly organized with SDCC but they haven't been interested despite reminders, and they have their own technical meeting series now which they weren't interested in using the seminar series for. Between covid and the round table I have felt little motivation to get it going. Hong and I agreed to leave it latent but still in existence for now, blaming covid. AI/ML may be a context in which it could prove useful, after covid or maybe even during. So keep in mind that it exists for when it can be useful.
