Thanks for the input I received, I injected it, we had a meeting internal to physics yesterday and one with lab higher ups today, our points were presented forcefully and received well. Probably some sort of task force will result, and then we'll see.

FYI, I felt I should be on this, obviously of key concern for us, but at this point I don't have a particular issue I plan to inject. If you have one you think I should, please let me know. Of course many of us (including me) have had past experiences as foreign nationals dealing with BNL that have been less than stellar, I am interested in following the Department's positive initiative to examine and improve the situation, and again if there's a particular case you think I should inject to the discussion do let me know.

Good Morning All,

I hope this message finds each of you safe and healthy. I have established a committee in response to the S&T Operations plan feedback. If you are receiving this email, you volunteered or was recommended to help address the feedback from the Physics Department regarding the rules and treatment of foreign nationals and DOE requirements. We have a scheduled meeting for Thursday, April 1st, 2021 with key personnel at the Laboratory in addressing these concerns.

I am requesting for you to send me a detailed circumstance, history, and timeline of such events on the treatment encountered. You may also include any other information that you feel could assist in shaping this document and dialogue. This will help me configure a document for your review prior to our meeting with QMO, HR ALD, and other key personnel. I would respectfully request the information NLT Tuesday, 3/30/21 evening (at your discretion).

The intent is to meet with the Physics Department first on Wednesday, 3/31/2021 afternoon to review this document for no more than 30 minutes. Thank you all for your help with this matter.

Very Respectfully,

Brandon L. Thorne CSM, CSPO, RBLP-T
