In which we learn why Nigel "retires".

The author has made a career from being a thorn in the sides of neutrino
experiments.

Not to say he's wrong....

It would be nice though if he was equally a thorn in the side of the
funding agency. They deserve a lot of the credit for the costs and
delays.
