Thank you all for your interest in the LEADER program!  I am pleased to announce the launch of the LEADER SharePoint site with dedicated Teams channel.  The site will serve as the main hub for Managers and Participants to provide updates, workshop calendar, program materials and discussion points.  Tentative workshop dates have been populated on the calendar.  We have seats for new supervisors with at least one direct report and nominations can be completed using the LEADER SharePoint site - LEADER - Home (sharepoint.com) as well.  Self-Nominations processed include an approval flow to notify managers.

Good afternoon all,

I am seeking your help and support to fill the seats for the LEADER program.  The revised supervisor development program, LEADER, is open and accepting nominations. 

What’s new with LEADER?

• Accepting self and manager nominations for new supervisors, one or more direct reports
• Shortened program timeline: 3 months
• Offered January – April and May -July
• Meet weekly 2-6 hours per week
• Revamped to target essential supervisor skills such as communication, accountability, trust,  managing direct reports and much more
• 360 feedback assessment and IDP
• Instructor led training and online self-directed courses
• The deadline for submissions is being extended to October 13

 

The New Supervisor Orientation has also been revised and will now be housed online and delivered in a self-directed learning environment. All supervisors will have access to the NSO and it is a requirement for the LEADER program.
