Dear all,

Please see below the call for abstracts for the DOE Data Days co-sponsored by DOE NNSA, but also of interest to DOE SC. Lots of relevant topic areas for BNL. Please consider submitting an abstract.

Best wishes,

Kerstin

The D3 workshop committee welcomes your abstract submissions for oral presentations.

Abstracts due Friday, April 15, 2022.

DOE Data Days (D3) 2022 is going hybrid!

Please join us for the third D3 workshop on June 1-3, 2022! The workshop will be held over 2 ½ days, Wednesday/Thursday from 8 am – 3 pm PST and Friday from 8 am – 12 pm PST. This will be a hybrid event hosted on-site at LLNL with the option to attend virtually via WebEx**.

D3 will provide a forum to collaborate on data management ideas and strategies and make recommendations to drive innovation and progress across DOE and NNSA. It brings together data management practitioners, researchers, and project managers from DOE and the national laboratories to promote data management as a means to higher quality and more efficient research and analysis.

We are accepting abstract submissions from now until April 15th for talk or poster presentations in four broad topics areas:

· Data Intensive Computing

· Cloud and Hybrid Data Management

· Data Access, Sharing, and Sensitivity

· Data Policy and Ethics

Of particular interest are presentations that address requirements, considerations, and constraints specific to DOE missions and the national laboratories.

Mark your calendars and look for more details in the coming weeks!

If you are interested in presenting, submit an abstract by clicking the ‘Submit Abstract’ button above. We welcome and will accommodate presentations and posters from both in-person and virtual attendees. Please note your preference for in-person or virtual attendance on your submission form. This selection is not final but will be used to estimate the number of in-person and virtual presenters to determine how best to organize the hybrid event. The deadline to submit abstracts is April 15th, 2022. Feedback from the committee will be sent to authors by April 29th

**The planning committee will closely monitor COVID19 DOE and participating laboratory policy for in-person and hybrid events and adapt as needed to change in policies.
