I was not aware. Where the organizers at BNL are coming from? CSI? Id yes, I’ll talk to Kerstin to agree that such workshops have to be discussed with us.

 

But we should certainly learn if any of our HEP scientists were contacted.

There are a number of upcoming events that we wanted to call to your attention:

 

The 2022 ROOT Users Workshop will be May 9-11 (attendance at Fermilab or CERN is possible).

 

There will be three lectures on Distributed Computing History, May 11, 12, and 13.

 

There will be an ATLAS GPU Tutorial May 17-19. The python section may be of particular interest to those working on analysis who wish to make use of GPUs.

 

There will be academic training lectures on Machine Learning May 2–May 6.

 

An HSF/IRIS-HEP Analysis Ecosystems workshop will be held at IJCLab in Paris, May 23-25.

 

A workshop on Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning will be held June 1-2 at BNL.

 

Applications are open for the CoDaS-HEP school, 1-5 August in Princeton, New Jersey.
