I see in the weekly news…

• FY2024 LDRD-A: NPP currently has eight notices of “intent to submit” TYPE A proposals.  A pre-review of these proposals will take place on July 11, 2023, where the PIs will present their proposals, via ZOOM, using the PowerPoint template provided.  Recommendations by the NPP ALD Office will be sent to PIs on July 12^th on whether a proposal will proceed toward the development of a full proposal or not.

…suggesting that the 3 NPPS related ones are almost half the NPP total? Seems unlikely. And suggesting no filter is to be applied prior to slide presentations on the 11th? Haven’t heard anything about that outside of this news bullet. Maybe 8 is post-filter, but there’s been no time for such a filter since Fri submission. Anyway should learn more from Hong on Wed when he’s back from vacation.
