No leadership team meeting on Friday, I'll be on travel.

- DUNE hire proceeding with 3-4 good candidates to interview

- Hong has approved Rubin RS position to either re-hire Zhaoyu or hire a new person if necessary

- if we hire someone else, we'll keep Zhaoyu in unpaid leave status as long as we can (and she wants) so if she regains status later we can look for something then to place her in

- and he's approved hiring a Lino replacement for AID2E/HEP-CCE. Shuwei is ramping on helping Wen in the meantime.

Hi all,
We’ll have a NPPS group meeting tomorrow at 10am. We’ll welcome our newest arrival in the group! Tasnuva Chowdhury started a couple weeks ago and is ramping up on the REDWOOD project. We’ll get a report (for sure this time) on the recent Geant4 advanced training week held at JLab and the implications for our EIC simulation work. And I’ll recap in brief form an AI for EIC talk I gave at SBU this week, which summarizes a recent retreat we had on the topic, and I’ll outline how it feeds into a program development proposal we’re putting together.

Those of us at BNL will meet in 1-224.
