Hi all,

Due to the way slurm does accounting I will have to make changes on the way jobs are submitted to the scavenger partition. As it is right now everyone that is submitting jobs with --qos=scavenger against their allocated account are still going to be charged.

If you want to run “free” you need to specify -A=default --qos=scavenger .

Starting Monday I will remove the ability to submit jobs with the qos scavenger against charging accounts. This change will not affect running jobs.
