Hi all,

As it was previous announced on Monday 4^th of December we will begin the intervention on the IC and KNL clusters.

The rough schedule for this is as follows:

KNL (Monday 4^th December No jobs will be able to run):

- Monday 4^th December:

o 8:00 am - 10:00 am:

§ No jobs will be able to run

§ Networking group intervention

o 10:00 am - 14:00 pm:

§ Start upgrading the gpfs client on the cluster

o 14:00 pm:

§ Return the KNL cluster to users

IC (Monday 4^th and 5^th December No jobs will be able to run):

- Monday 4^th December:

o 8:00 am – 10:00 am

§ Networking group intervention

o 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

§ Update to SL 7.3 (ichosts, icsubmits, icmaster, cfnhosts)

- Tuesday 5^th December:

o 8:00 am – 10:00 am:

§ Networking group intervention

o 10:00 am – 14:00 pm:

§ Finishing updating to SL 7.3 if not completely done on Monday

§ perform basic sanity checks

o 14:00 pm:

§ Return the IC clusters to users
