We  will shutdown all IC gen1  ,Skylake, volta ,A6  nodes by Monday Oct 2nd,   12:00 noon.

Jobs that does not expect to finish by that time will not be able to start.

Subject: [Sdcc_users-l] gen 1 HPC retirement (IC gen1, KNL, etc)

 

Hi everyone,

As previously announced, SDCC's gen1 HPC clusters are going to be
retired and shut down soon.  Here is the timeline:

  - IC gen1, Skylake, Volta and A6 will be removed from service on
October 2nd, 2023.
  - KNL will be removed from service on September 21st, 2023.

Data in NFS home directories, the /hpcgpfs01 GPFS filesystem, and the
/sdcc/lustre01 Lustre filesystem will be unaffected by the shutdown, and
will remain available on ICgen2 (for those with allocations), and our
Globus Online endpoint.
