Dear All,
May be it would be interesting also following:
1) If we have ionization info from TPC we shall can get the differential flow for p+-,k+-,pi+- with respect
to the selected(chosen) reference flow.
2) If we have reconstruction info from EMCal we can get the differential flow v2′{4} for (pi0's + direct photons) with respect to
reference flow derived from charge hadrons. And we can compare v2′{4} with v2′{2} for (pi0's + direct photons) .
3) If we have reconstruction info from EMCal + HCal we shall can get the the integral flow v2 and may be v1,v3 for charge+neutral
hadrons. And we can compare them with v2,v1,v3 derived from only charge hadrons.
4) We can find the jets and mini-jets in the events and consider them as POI (Particles Of Interest). The rest of event which does not
contain the particles from jets and mini-jets we can consider as RFP ( Reference Flow Particles).
And we can see if the jets and mini-jets are correlated with RFP or not. May be of course that the multiplicity of jets and mini-jets
in the events will be insufficient.
With best regards,
Vladimir

Hi All,
Many thanks for the responses so far! A friendly
reminder to provide any input you have. Sooner is better, but
please send your input by early next week so I can compile it
and share with the collaboration on Friday Aug 19 (per the
request from Anne and Dennis).
Cheers,
Ron

Dear All,
I completely agree that the most interesting thing to study are v2{2,4,6,8,10} from cumulants.
May be it would be interesting to see also following: 1) we divide each event to subevents in eta (delta_eta ~= 0.5-0.7). All tracks of any subevent belong to the some eta-interval which
is its own for each subevent.
Then using Q-cumulants method we can obtain v2{2,4,6,...} for each subevent and the whole event. And we can compare them.
2)We can to obtain v2{2,4,6,...} from integral cumulants getting from (subevent_i + subevent_j).
It is interesting to compare them for different subevent combinations (i,j).
3) It would be interesting to get v2{2,4,6,...} from differential cumulants obtaining
from (subevent_i + subevent_j), where subevent_i is used as Reference Flow Particles ( for getting the reference cumulants)
and subevent_j is used as Particles of Interest. And it is interesting to see the same for (subevent_j + subevent_i). Will the differential cumulants be the same as in the
case of (subevent_i + subevent_j) or different? 4)If we have v2{8} or may be v2{10} then may be we can get nonflow correlations from
cumulants c_n{2,4,6,... }. I think it is also interesting.
5) May be it would be interesting to get v1 and v3 too.
a) I have not any experience in the cumulant studying. As I understand we need tracks or tracklets from TPC or Silicon Vertex detector.
b) May be, that simple MonteCarlo (without G4) can help to see how the number of tracks in event, track resolution, inhomogeneities of the detector in azimuth will influence the cumulants.
c) I agree. For Day-1 all can be done for minimum bias. d)I do not know what is currently available for MC e) I do not know it. I believe to Ron.
With best regards,
Vladimir
