Hi Evgeny,

I saw your message, but on a weekend replies may be slower.

The code you're working on (which I am culpable for, in the sections that are important for this discussion), does not follow sPHENIX best practices and accesses the g4hits from the TTree directly.  I have been warned not to expect assistance in that bit.

There are tutorials of how to compile, available via the sphenix github account:  https://github.com/sPHENIX-Collaboration/coresoftware

In particular,
https://wiki.bnl.gov/sPHENIX/index.php/Example_of_using_DST_nodes#Building%20a%20package

this runs through how to use autogen etc.  Other tutorials can give the less-shortcutted way to access the pertinent section of the DST.

Dear All,
I have produced the first version of IBF map using ALICE IROC 35 and 38 results provided by Nikolai to be used in the simulations
Attached is a presentation, please take a look and feel free to make comments, so I would have time for improvement until next meeting
General idea is that I use IROCs as tiles to fill large space and then randomly fill IBF & Gain weights for each module with respect to its size, saving initial 1x1 cm geometry of IROC measurements

Apologies all, apparently the text of the indico page link and the content of the link itself don't match.  The correct indico page is:  https://indico.bnl.gov/event/8756/
