Hi Takao,

Thanks for the comments !

Dear Hugo,

Thanks for making and posting the set of very nice slides. Just
a few comments below.

- slide 10: They are important results, and should be highlighted.
I wonder if you can make a plot of the peak values and width
for positive and negative as a function of pT.

Done (although in the backups)

I would not try to take too much out of this slide because of the limitations in slide7. To me the message is that we absolutely need to correct for distortions to get physics out of the TPC. But we new that already right ? This was an attempt at quantifying it a little. However this will get much worse once you include the O(cm) static distortion from Ross, and event-by-event fluctuations. So ...

Ultimately this would be more interesting I think, when redoing the same plots considering the fluctuations only.

- slide 12: In the middle, delta r phi --> r delta phi

Fixed, thanks ! (in fact, by construction we assign r_track == r_cluster (and also r_truth == r_cluster) so that there is no ambiguity in this.
- By the way, since you showed the chi^2 formula in the slide 12,
it would be instructive to show the actual values for three cases
in the slide 13, at given r (e.g., r=30 and/or 60cm)

Will do. For the chisquare to make sense though, this requires to have the proper errors on the clusters, and on the tracks.

- slide 15: One observation from the plots shown here is the
width change, but the other observation is the shift of mass
peak. This may be also worth pointing out?
Will do orally.

 Thanks again!

Takao
