the laser origins in the plot below look a bit peculiar...


It's hard to see in the 3D plot. Attached is the r vs z and phi vs z plots.  I think the laser origins are at a reasonable place, although I do not know how this match the actual hardware. I think it is also consistent with what Charles sent.

- Charles: thanks for the suggestion about changing the lasers orientation ! that is why I was not getting any hits. I only tested with theta = 0, which is along the beam, and with lasers at R=60 , that is, between R2 and R3. All G4Hits were generated between regions, and without distortions, were all falling into the dead are. Hence no hits. Using the angles you suggested, I do see G4Hits, hits, even clusters, using the standard clustering, using the latest code from git.

See figure attached (generated with my own evaluator)

- Christof: in case this helps, I have put the macro I use as well as the modified version of G4_TrkrSimulation.C that selects only one laser angle, at "/phenix/u/hpereira/for_christof"
