Good morning folks,

Firstly, thanks Jamie for pointing out that our usual hangout will be unavailable.

We will instead convene in the 1008 trailer's conference room-like area. I'd like to not pull people from the 1008 area.

Secondly, as people probably saw over the weekend, there was quite a flurry of activity for the calorimeters, and they are indeed centered around the zero suppression (and possibly timing), online monitoring, and hardware tasks that need to be addressed during a controlled access. I think we'll want to zero in on the specifics of these tasks and who's going to focus on them so we can have as fast a turnaround as possible.

See you all at 11 (we'll have the zoom room going as well),
-Anthony

Hi all,

One thing to add in general is that I think we should prepare another set of special runs for ZS and no ZS after the access.
I don’t think that should prevent us looking into the runs we already took but we should be prepared that there is a chance things could change in the future.

Best,
Jaebeom

Hello Anthony and Blair  (cc Calo lists),

For the  meeting  this morning, it would be most helpful  if you can  specifically address what appears to  be an issue with the OnlineMonitoring (particularly for the EMCal).    What  is a problem in the Monitor, what  is the problem in  the detector?

Also, I think  we need to  request a Controlled Access for this afternoon and having a specific list of what needs to be done  would be good.

I note that  the TPC  Review (which  John H is chairing) is from  10  am - noon today (Monday, May 20, 2024) in the 1008 Conference Room.

Sincerely,

Jamie

[External email - use caution]

Good afternoon folks,

We'll have our next, regularly-scheduled Calorimeter Calibrations meeting this upcoming Monday, May 20th, at the regular time and place, 11:00AM Eastern at the following zoom coordinates:

The agenda can be found here:

We are starting to get a good number of reports at our Wednesday and Friday meetings, hooray! And thanks for everyone for diving in and taking a look at the data. We will, as per usual, start the meeting with contributions and updates related to the data-taking efforts, and then transition to calibration-focused efforts.

Our Wednesday/Friday meetings have a sharp cutoff at 3:25PM for the shift change meeting, so if we don't get to your update, please tell us so we can bump you to the front of the next meeting (e.g. if we don't get to your update today, you'll be first on the agenda on Monday).

Have a wonderful weekend,
-Anthony and Blair
