Minutes:

Christine and Nils – TG news and discussion of EIC LOI charge

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Christine showed the slides presented during Friday’s discussion, plus some of the comments/issues that came up during the discussion.

Possible language to be more explicit about the review process – Simply specify “a BNL review”?  As opposed to an sPHENIX-organized review—note that BNL did NOT hold a review of the 2014 LOI, and PHENIX organized their own review.  Perhaps “a BNL review with external experts”?

Costing methods developed by Diane Hatton – make sure we agree that it’s reasonable to go through this process by September.

Abhay – EIC physics at increasing luminosities

-------------------------------------------------------

Presentation aimed at science for LOI, i.e. science that could be delivered based on assumptions for first 5 years of eRHIC accelerator performance expectations.
