Hi Sasha,

Great, this is exactly what I needed.

Thank you,

It is pT dependent, see the plot attached.

Hello Sasha,

Thank you for your comments.  Here is the version I intend to send in.

Also, would you be able to tell me what percent contribution qq scattering has in hadron production?

Dear Desmond,

Your poster looks good. I have a few suggestions, see below.

Regards,
Sasha.

************

Abstract:
I would exclude "midrapidity" from the last sentence, as sPHENIX (the way it is being built now) is midrapidity detector.

*** The left panel:

I think comparison of pp and ep is also important in many aspects, so: "Universality between pA and eA collisions" -> "Universality between p+p(A) and e+p(A) collisions"

"Probing polarized proton structure" panel:
First, there is an updated set a plots, see slide 5 from https://www.phenix.bnl.gov/WWW/p/draft/shura/2019/ColdQCD_status_8jul19.pdf. They include theoretical uncertainty bands, but for NNPDF models, so that one can directly judge the power of our expected data.
Second, I think some more explanation should be given: direct photon are produced through q+g->q+gamma and q+qbar->g+gamma (contributes 10-15%). The former, which is a dominant contributor to dir. photon production, gives sensitivity to deltaG. Pions are produced mainly through gg, qg and qq scattering, the first two provide sensitivity to deltaG. You even may include Feynman diagrams of the reactions.

*** Middle panel:
I'd slightly modify the caption for qhat plot, e.g.:
Expected uncertainties from  photon-jet pair measurements in pA vs pp collisions.
Gives access to transport coefficient qhat:
<Formula>
<Diagram>
(Just keep in mind: the plot you show includes both barrel and forward, barrel projections are limited roughly by <1 at horizontal axis).

Dear sPHENIX Cold QCD members,

Attached is my draft for the Hard Probes 2020 poster "Cold QCD with sPHENIX" (note that this poster focuses on the central barrel measurements while the title on the indico page still refers to forward instrumentation).
If possible, I will gladly accept comments, edits, and suggestions from now until Sunday.  There is also a 3-minute recording I will submit alongside the poster, so if there is any information you believe I should be sure to mention but may not be able to fit onto the poster please let me know.
