sPHENIX cold QCD topical group

Dear All,

after a long time without meetings due to other commitments and general 
lack of active people, we plan to have again an sPHENIX cold QCD meeting 
this Thursday at 9:00 EST (15:00 CET, 23:00 JST/KST) and plan to have 
them more regularly from now on.

We currently plan to discuss the various groups interested in cold 
QCD/Spin topics, how many are likely to participate and their topics of 
main interest. So, even if you cannot attend the meeting, we would 
appreciate if you could let us know for your groups.
We also plan to discuss briefly the different topics we have so far 
identified but am certainly encouraging additional ideas if you have 
any.
Last, it is very important for spin running that we have all the 
relevant hardware (ZDCs/SMDs, etc) as well as monitoring/logging 
available (Localpol, luminosity scalers, etc) for next year. We 
therefore plan to discuss those as well and hope for your support in 
preparing them before the pp/pAu run.

So, please attend or at least let us know your interests if you cannot.
