Dear Genki,
Nice slides, here are some minor comments from me.
Slide 6: Add capability of stream readout in sPHENIX tracking
system. (this will help what you present in Slide 12)
Slide 7: great event place resolution -> great event plane resolution
Slide 10: not sure if it is good idea to keep presenting p+A program like nuclear dependence at this point. In fact p+A program is not appearing in slide 8. In consistent within your slides.
In addition, it will be nice for you to present the readiness of the sPHENIX spin measurements including local polarimetry, GL1p, etc. We'll try to get approval of local polarimeter plots this week. If it is successful, it will be nice if you include them.
Best regards,
-itaru
Dear colleagues,
I was invited to give a talk at the cold-QCD workshop in the RHIC/AGS users' meeting. You can find the first version of my draft:
The topic of the talk is a bit flexible. Here is the part of the e-mail from the organizers:This year organizers are taking a rather different approach than the usual PHENIX or STAR spin/cold QCD overview talks and ask speakers to choose the topic of their strongest interests from their personal perspectives.Since I don't see any other speakers from sPHENIX, I'd like to talk about the general introduction of the sPHENIX cold-QCD program and one of the channels I'm interested in. I also wanted to include something related to INTT, as it's the only tracking detector that can identify the spin pattern, and I'm working on, but no results using p+p data have been released yet. So, I don't make a dedicated page for the moment. The INTT group will ask for approval for some plots on Friday. If it's successful, I may pick some of them and take 1-2 min in my talk. But I don't change the slides a lot. The talk was assigned to be for 25 + 5 min.
I would appreciate your comments.
