Hi all,

Below is an abstract that my student plans on submitting for for the CEU at DNP this fall. Abstracts are due next Monday. Comments and suggestions are most welcome

Thanks,
Nathan

Building a Test Stand for Silicon Photomultiplies for sPHENIX Calorimeter Readout
Vivian Zhou, Augustana University, for the sPHENIX Collaboration

The sPHENIX detector is a second-generation heavy ion collision experiment planned to be built at Brookhaven National Laboratory's (BNL) Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). The read-out of the electromagnetic and hadronic calorimeters will be via silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs). In preparation for characterizing the approximately 125,000 SiPMs that will be used in the detector, a test stand has been built at Augustana University. In this poster we give the details of the test stand and example tests that have and can be done.
