Talking it over with John there are a few things that we need to do with the Readout System, EMCal and HCal prototypes in the HCal lab in the next few days/weeks/month before we get swamped by the new EMCal/HCal for the Feb Test beam.

In more or less priority, and probably not complete:

  1. Rotate the EMCal so that towers are horizontal.  Rob, I will be in around 9:30 tomorrow and we can look at how to do that.
  2. Calibrate the current draw on the EMCal prototype.  Means opening up the prototype, Steve let's talk about how best to do thins.
  3. Pedestals studies (in progress) and look at effect of high leakage current using the the "neutron damage simulator". Need to look at the power supply/light location to increase the "leakage" current.
  4. Software:
  1. Freeze a "production" version of the Linux code
  2. Backup/track changes to the development code, github?
  3. Document what we have.
Study the impact of the cooling on the EMCal Implement, if needed,  and test a cosmic trigger for the HCal using the new digitizers. This is probably the longest item in terms of time on the list, but we will discuss it Wednesday. Stress testing the readout, as best we can.  Do we have enough disk space to do multiple runs at kHz rates for hours at a time?
Of course there is all the work associated with building/retrofitting the detectors for the testbeam that is not included in this list, but has to be done. There is also getting another digitizer test stand together at some point
